Actress Hilary Duff is ready to join the cast of 'Gossip Girl' on the Upper East Side this fall, it appeared.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the actress-singer-designer will join the rich and fabulous on the fourth season of the show, reports the New York Daily News.

Duff, 21, will be the role of Olivia Burke, a movie star who is just trying to NYU to be a typical teenager.

It will be in a room with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr).
