Eddie was too young when his father had expired,  had a brother & a baby brother were  brought up by his mother working in a telephone company & a step father  at a Breyer's Ice Cream factory as a foreman . His character was much inclined to amusing  nature from his childhood, when he reached at 15 he started utilizing this talent & started writing &  performing on that , simultaneously he had joined bars at the Roosevelt High School auditorium. To encash his comic talent  he finally  made his showcase of Manhattan, the Comic Strip and performed at a club owned by Robert Watches and Richard Tienken,the club co-owners got impressed in such a way that they planned  to give him a big break in their club as a  entertainer but after hearing a Show by Watches and Tienken  they gave him a Status of Star, show was the "Saturday Night Live" (1975), where Eddie  casted  himself as a featured player .
