Storyline:

American-born Roshan (Abhishek Bachchan), which provides great-ill mother in India. Little does he know that the journey will quickly turn into the longest journey of his life - a journey inside. The backdrop to the story is the old walled city of Delhi, a character in itself. It is chaos, religion, beliefs and spirit of the Indian population. The PIN of the city is 110,006, with pride and love they call its Delhi-6.

Delhi-6 is a forthcoming Bollywood film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra who will star Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni and Divya Dutta. 

Delhi-6 is based on Mehra growth years in the Chandni Chowk area of Old Delhi.The Mehra film will be the third director of the company after the huge success Rang De Basanti, which had been selected as India official entry for Oscars and critically acclaimed.

Sonam Kapoor, daughter of Anil Kapoor, who made his debut in Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Saawariya, reportedly confirmed taking part in the film and will be paired with Abhishek Kapoor Bachchan.Rishi and Tanvi Azmi are also outside the film. The film went to the floor Dec. 20, 2007 Amitabh Bachchan has a small role in the movie where he plays the grandfather of Roshan, played by Abhishek Bachchan. Waheeda Rahman will play the grandmother of the same nature. Gulshan Grover has been roped in to play Abhishek Bachchan's father in the film.
