Storyline:

Set in Bollywood, Short Kut - The Con is On tells the story of two strugglers, the one who makes it big as a Superstar (Raju - Arshad Warsi) after the theft of a script, and others whose struggle as director (Shekhar - Akshaye Khanna) continues after the script was stolen.

Things become very interesting when there is actress Mansi (Amrita Rao) romantic involvement with Shekhar has resulted in a marriage, while its interaction with professionals Raju begin.

To add to the chaos, destiny brings new Shekhar Raju and face to face, when Shekhar is to direct his first film, Superstar with Raju.

What follows is a clash of ego and a huge excitement building an amusing confusion. What is the next stage of real life drama that unfolds in the coil is the crux of the plot run out of Kut - The Con is On.
